The borough’s Botanic Gardenの桜がいよいよ今週から咲き始めるようです。毎年恒例の桜祭りは、 April 26 and 27に開催されます。

Japanese architect、Mr. Tadao Andoが、初のresidential New York City assignmentに取り組むそうです。これまでにChelsea’s Morimoto restaurant in 2006、43 Crosby’s lobby and penthouseなどは手がけてきましたが、NYCのアパート全体のデザインに取り組むのは初だそうです。場所はノリータのthe corner of Elizabeth and Kenmare streetsだそうです。

セレブレティーシェフ、Bobby Flayによるレストラン、GatoがNOHOにオープンしたそうです。ここ最近で最も注目されているレストランとのことでして、Spanish/Mediterranean bar/brasserieだそうです。

“The Kelpies” と呼ばれるA pair of 15-foot-tall steel sculptures of horse headsが、ブライアントパーク内に展示されるそうです。Scottish artist、Andy Scottによる作品です。明日から４月２２日まで展示されるそうです。
